Drove 180 miles for service on my Mazda because Galpin is closest dealership. The service was to update software due to a glitch in the infotainment system. I arrived and was told I would probably need the whole system replaced and would have to pay out of pocket ($1,700) and then get reimbursed by Mazda. It is under an extended warranty due to he glitch being part of a class action lawsuit. I questioned why I wild have to pay out of pocket and why could they just do the software update. I just had another fabulous experience at the Galpin service department! Unfortunately I bought my 2024 CX - 90 in Scottsdale but I am very happy I chose Galpin for my service . Ben has always been my advisor and he is “ excellent “ - he has all the attributes of a great service advisor - and I believe he would make a top notch Service Manager down the road .In addition I met a young lady named Kaylee who helped while Ben was busy . Terrible experience… total rip off. They gave me a diagnosis that my steering column was bad. They no longer make this part so that’s one thing and then they told me that they do not do after market parts and suggested I go elsewhere. So, I went to Iconic Auto. They diagnosed the problem to be just a bad battery. Wow. In addition. Ben, would not meet with me when I went to have the car towed. First I was told he was with another customer.
