We were so pleased with our stay, the room was exactly as advertised, lovely and clean. We stayed in the battery Point room and it has fantastic 180 view of the harbour and town below, perfect location for the salamanca markets and plenty of pubs and places to grab a drink or food below. Marti was very efficient with replying to any enquiries. Would HIGHLY reccomend and HAPPILY stay again! :)
The hotel itself was fine, but let me be clear: this was a one-star experience because of the owner. His attitude was unacceptable and incredibly rude from the first phone call. Since there's no one at the reception desk, you're forced to call him for any issues. To his clear dismay, I had to do so multiple times. Response: To refer to us as irate is completely untrue. Check your camera's. This did not happen! At most, we were disappointed but we made that clear to your employee that it was not her fault and there was no need for an apology from her or anyone. We were very excited about our planned stay at Salamanca from 20 to 23 June 2025 unfortunately however our Grandaughter was admitted to hospital very ill on Wed night in NSW. We had to make the decision to cancel our travel plans on Thurs to support our family & have other children stay with us for the weekend while their parents are at the hospital.
