We were extremely disappointed with our dinner at Gallagher’s tonight. My halibut was tough and had a strong, unpleasant fishy taste. My husband ordered the NY strip and, although he didn’t want to complain at the table, he told me afterward that it was awful. He ate only three bites of it. I honestly wish he had said something while we were there because the restaurant should have had the opportunity to address it. I went there with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend. Neatly everything was impeccable. They make every ingredient, from the cocktail mixes to the sauces, in house. Wife and daughter shared the bacon and lump crab meat. They love the crab, but bacon was very thick and fatty and not what they expected. Waiter "Z" took it off the table without hesitation. I dined at Gallaghers this evening as it came highly recommended from a friend. My experience was nothing less than disappointing. While half way through my salad, entrees were pushed out at us and since there was not enough room at the table, they began removing bread plates and water glasses to make room! We had asked for bread to be refilled twice and finally asked a bus boy who brought it to us with no bread plated. Water was not refilled, no one inquired as to whether we wanted anything to drink.
