I am extremely disappointed with the management and oversight provided by Galerie Living at the assisted living facility where my mother resides in Douglasville. Since they took over management in January, I have yet to see the positive long-lasting changes that were expected and promised. Communication and accessibility to their team have been major concerns from the start. If health and safety are important to you and your loved ones, stay away from Galerie Living. They have no problem exposing elderly people to dangerous or hazardous conditions if it means saving the money it would cost to fix or prevent them. Not what you want from a senior community.

Galerie Living’s decision to demolish the former Georgia Mental Health Institute is deeply troubling and difficult to justify. This was not an ordinary site — it held significant historical, cultural, and architectural value, recognized far beyond the local level, particularly as the filming location of Hawkins Lab. I’m very disappointed that the historic Georgia Mental Health Institute building (known to many as the filming location for Hawkins Lab) is being demolished as part of the redevelopment by Galerie Living. This site had deep cultural, architectural, and historical value, and its loss feels unnecessary and sad. I wish more consideration had been given to preserving the structure or integrating it into the new development. Many people cared about this place, and it deserved better protection.

Great company ! Great place to work ! They really care about the residents and employees. If you’re looking for a place for your love ones this is it ! 10 out of 10 across the board !
