I was in a rush on a very busy day, and they accommodated me so well. I was really impressed with Jenny who did my nails so fast (at my request!) so I could get in and out. She even said she had come in at the request of her friend to help with the walk-ins! That's so kind. I think Galaxy in general maybe lacks a personalized experience I'm accustomed to at my normal nail salon, but for quick needs, it's great!
Got a set of dip nails taken off here. The lady doing it *severely* overdrilled ny nails. Leaving them incredibly thin, brittle, and fragile. Now 4wks(ish) later, I cant even wash my hair without any of the new growth breaking off past the nail bed. Some parts of my nails have actually started lifting off the nail bed (Onycholysis). They are so incredibly painful. I cant even open a soda can. On the plus side, she only charged me for the cost of the basic manicure. Some of the staff are very good doing nails. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
After coming here for awhile now, I won't be back after my experience yesterday. I came in for a mani/pedi requesting regular polish on my toes and shellac on my nails. Pedicure was a positive experience other than the technician dropping a tool on the floor and putting it directly back on her cart. For my manicure, I had a different tech. She maneuvered my hand around like she was frustrated I wasn't holding/resting my hand properly.
