I bought this to replace a GEM wireless boatlift control and it has outperformed my expectations. Definitely a superior unit and I highly recommend.
We initially had a great experience with Galaxy Lifts, but I have to warn people NOT to buy from them. The entire process from reviewing products and getting a quote, through the installation, was smooth and easy. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and fast! The crew arrived in the morning and by mid-afternoon they were finished. We did a walk-through of all the operations and safety features before they left. We had a Traveler installed in October 2025. The general quality and functionality of their product is good. We use it every day without issues. However, their manufacturing facility needs better quality control, after detailed instruction on which way the gate should open, it was built and installed opening the wrong way. We found out after the unit was completely installed, in hindsight I should have had them disassemble it and send it back. No compensation was offered from Galaxy other than an apology. Buying an elevator from Galaxy Lifts has been a terrible experience. Communications from Galaxy are extremely poor and uncoordinated. Kristie White in the Galaxy office seems to be trying but it has been very hard to get information to or from the installers. I ordered a Traveler Lift in June 2025 and 3 ½ months later, I still don’t have an elevator and I don’t even have an installation date scheduled. Very sturdy and well made. Definitely would buy again.
Good lift that meets my needs. Well constructed and nice looking as well as sturdy. A product that I would buy again. Only draw back was poor wiring instructions if your going to install this yourself.
I would strongly advise that if you are thinking about a lift , do not buy from this company . My lift was order in the early summers don’t the sent the wrong lift. My dealer ordered the correct lift and as of today, it still has not arrived. Galaxies has lied to my dealer as well as myself on why they are not delivering the correct lift. Their salesman , Tyler has repeated lied to my dealer and I called him myself over a month ago.and he told me everything was ready and should be shipped out in a few days.
