Out family have been booking tickets with Gala travels from long time. Unfortunately, this time had a worse experience. Not getting accurate communication regarding my refund. I had a flight on 14/May which was canceled by a airline. Now due to financial hardship I might mot luxury to travel again anytime soon. I booked a flight for my wife on the Gala Travels website. On the payment page there is a field to input the purchaser's phone number below your credit card details. I did enter my Canadian number, expecting to be called if there were any issues. Gala Travels did not try to contact me on this number at all. They sent one email to my wife in Thailand, who was asleep, and then worked a double shift as a nurse. By the time she finished they cancelled the flight and now the price has gone up $800.
