Saw a few reviews talking about the service here and honestly….Do they meet you the second you walk in? No. Do they clear your table the second you finish a dish? No. But if that’s your main take away from a delicious dinner, this spot’s not for you. Food is on point every time, vibes are great and staff is friendly and chill.
I went here based on a highly reviewed Instagram post. I know, I know…huge mistake. Parking wasn’t hard to find, but drive carefully. I walked in and I told the guy who was going to sit me down that I wanted a table and he gave me a “Are you serious? Can’t you sit at the bar?” look. He sits me down underneath the A/C where the condensation is dripping down on my shoulder. Took a couple of minutes to get my order placed and waitress never asked if I wanted a drink. Food was great! The pork belly, beef bulgogi, and crispy dumplings were to die for! Fairly priced food and drinks. There were about 7 of us in our group and not a single complaint from anyone at the table. We came in yesterday evening and the bartender/server was KILLING IT! She deserves some praise and we definitely enjoyed her service and kindness. I’m so glad I finally was able to experience Gaja and can cross it off my bucket list! We will definitely be coming back soon. 🥳
