We are the one and only tea house in Coeur d'Alene. Gaiwan tea house offers a variety of over 70 organic and natural teas to choose from. Our guests can stay and relax with a pot in our beautifully remodeled historic home, or purchase loose leaf tea and enjoy it in the comfort of their own home. We can also make our teas to go. Our tea repertoire also offers many delicious tea drinks such as an organic traditional Masala Chai, Macha " LaTea", London Fog and many more. Each month has a specialty drink special 10% off!

I love to meet my friends here for tea and conversation. once the weather warms, we can sit outside in the sunshine in the backyard away from the street. It's cozy and healthy!

RecommendedI do not have an incredibly experienced taste buds but I do know an uneventful stale tea when I taste one. Gaiwan Tea house is ahhhmazing! The deliciousness of their tea, the experience and friendliness of their staff will have me going back many times. My husband and I went to their tea tasting a couple of weeks ago. Informational and fun (husband said it was a pleasant surprise, he thought it was going to be a bunch of women gossiping and carrying on)!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful, and the teas (and food) are outstanding. It's a quiet, reflective place.
Try the lavender fog and the lemon and lavender cookies! Delicious!

My daughter and I attended the Tea Tasting on November 30th and learned an abundance about the different variations of teas paired with delicious bits of chocolate! I’m sorry we had plans for dinner thereafter unable to stay for the book reading. The guitarist was amazing too. Look forward to your next engagement 🍃🍃
