I am a member at the GOC. The GOC is many incredible things. It has so much potential for its future. When I first started attending the GOC, I felt welcome, excited but most importantly I felt safe. But recently.. when I go to the GOC a sense of fear hits me.. I feel unsafe at times due to the fact that it feels like you’re walking on egg shells with what you say or do at the GOC. GOC Has changed my life in so many ways. I’ve made amazing friends. Went back to work after 27 years of not being able to work because of their Transitional Employment Program. It’s a place to go where you can feel productive and accepted. I LOVE the GOC!!!
