I didn't know the Fisher House existed. When my Veteran was on 24 hr dialysis in the ICU at Malcolm Randall VA Medical center. An RN referred me as we live 75 miles away. Let me preface this with WOW!!!!! 4 star hotels have nothing on this place. Clean clean..oh. did I say clean..as in spotless. I was given a lovely room with a big smooth bed. Lovely bathroom with granite counters. Nicer towels and bedding than I have at home. And a bathrobe in the closet. Sweet!! Gourmet kitchen with all the goodies available to use. Laundr... read more
Staying at the Fisher House was truly a blessing for our family. The staff was incredibly kind, supportive, and always willing to help during a very difficult time. The house was clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. We are so grateful for the warmth, compassion, and care we received. Thank you, Fisher House, for making such a challenging moment a little easier. We appreciate everything you do for families like ours. 💙
