Many years ago she brokered a deal for me to rent an apartment on the 3rd floor of a 3-family home on Cloverfield Place. Meaning I paid HER to find an apartment for me, not the landlord paying her to find a tenant. When winter came and I found myself with no heat or hot water, unable to locate the landlord, I called the town seeking help.
