In order to make sure that all of your unwanted hair is removed, it takes several electrolysis sessions, usually once a week or every other week. Fortunately, once the series of treatments is finished, the unwanted hair will be completely gone.

Be sure not to shave 24 hours before the electrolysis. Following your procedure, it’s important that you do not tweeze, wax or thread the area or it will drag out the process. Clipping and shaving, however, is fine.

Q: My friends say that electrolysis is dangerous. Is this true? A: No. Electrolysis is quite safe, provided you have a good practitioner who is licensed and using the proper equipment.
