Horrible place.
As a healthcare provider in Etowah County for many years and having utilized the services of this facility for members of my own family, I have nothing but the best things to say about the professionals caring for both their short term and long term residents.
Does not answer the phone! Refuses to have discharge meeting! Does not discharge when supposed too! No communication whatsoever! This needs to be shut down!
If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is the most unprofessional rehab center in the state of Alabama. I cannot imagine there being one worse than Gadsden Health and Rehab. Please, for the sake of your loved ones, do not take anyone you love or care about to this place. They are mean, angry, starve their patients, and refuse to give prescribed medicines. This has been the worst experience for my family member. I have a phone conference set with someone at the state level and with a group who specializes in patient abuse. ... read more
