Dr. Gabrillo actually takes the time to get to know his patients and actually cares for them. It has taken so long for my father to find a PCP who cares. Really glad we were able to have Dr. Gabrillo as his PCP. The front office staff is also very kind and treats my father as if they have been friends forever. Probably Dr Gabrillo is good. However his staffs specially the reception and staff who’s in charge of the records are not organized, records are forgotten and very impatient...very unprofessional...she is charging us already and told us to transfer the payment to an account then only then she will make appointments...how is that possible!?! Anyhow I hope he should check his staffs...put someone friendly and knowledgeable about their patients. Both of my parents have been patients of Dr. Gabrillo for over 15 years, but I'm sad to say that DR Gabrillo's caring practice and office staffing has gone down the drain. There is poor communication between the dr and his staff, and the front desk has no clue of medical needs of others. Sad, but true! I'm currently looking for new doctor for my parents in hopes to find someone who will attend to their needs.
My dad loves Dr. Gabrillo; however, my mom and I are now looking for a different doctor. His nursing staff is disorganized and unaware of current medical practices. They had me schedule an appointment to do some medical testing that cannot be done on people my age and did not realize this until I was sitting in the examining room. There has been miscommunication between Dr. Gabrillo and my pharmacy. Overall, I'm sad to be looking for a new doctor, but it's necessary for my comfort.
Being raised among physicians and having had other doctors disappointment, I think that I have finally found the right physician to take care of me for a very long time. This doctor and his office are professional and welcoming and have an excellent follow-up. His wife is his PA and it's such a good teamwork. I finally feel that I have a physician who cares to lead me towards better health.
