I wish I could give Dr. San Roman 100 stars. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have my daughter today. After seeing five fertility doctors who all told me I’d never be able to have a child, Dr. San Roman proved them wrong. Our world connected when we were going through the fertility journey. After going through multiple reviews of IVF doctors, we chanced upon him when we had to go to his office in Smithtown (under Northwell Health) on a weekend (as our usual office location is closed on weekends). Dr. SanRoman and his staff made our whole fertility journey less difficult. From making appointments, to weekly blood/sonos, countless questions and more shots than we can keep count of… we were always taken care of with a friendly smile. Our family is expanding because of Smithtown Fertility.
My husband has muscular dystrophy which led us to do IVF. I did 2 egg retrievals and 1 embryo transfer with Dr. SanRoman. The 1st retrieval yielded only 1 embryo which was diseased. The 2nd yielded 15 embryos then went down to 4 which yielded only 1 healthy embryo. We ultimately did the transfer and it did not take. During this process of highs and lows Dr SanRoman has called me a case study, an experiment, and told me people will use me in their studies to learn from my situation. Dr. San Roman and his are absolutely amazing!! Everyone is so kind and compassionate! I cannot thank them enough for everything that they did for me. Truly an amazing office.
