I originally found Dr. Lee for a family member that moved here from out of state. I then decided to leave my gastroenterologist and become his patient myself. I appreciate his straightforward common sense answers to questions and his medical knowledge.
Dr Lee brought me back to good health after another Dr did an ERCP on me and left me with a deadly bacterial infection and an obstructed bile duct. I had a fever of 105 for 3 days and came to Bay Area Regional ER. I almost died. Dr Lee immediately did another ERCP to correct the previous one and found all sorts of problems from that first procedure. I even had to be quarantined. He saved my life. Dr. Lee is very patient, informative and compassionate. He took the time to answer all of my questions (and there were A LOT of them) and explain things.
Very condescending and talking to patients like they're kids. Mom has an H Pylori infection and he prescribed clarithromycin to treat it. As a nurse, I told him people from my area usually have clarithromycin resistant bacteria so it's up to him if he wants to prescribe another antibiotics. He got defensive and said "since you know the drugs better why don't you prescribe". I said "I'm not trying to be smart here I just tell you what I know and it's up to you to decide". I appreciate Dr. Lee's direct way he responds to me as a patient.
I’ve only had an office visit for colonoscopy pre op. Staff seemed nice as well Dr Lee. He was that Down to Earth and professional.
Dr. Lee was easy to talk to, explained things well and was thorough in trying to find out what my problem was and then provided solutions.
I would recommend Dr Lee, he was a vary good listener and was consistent with his examination and questions asked.
Dr Lee & staff are genuine, straight forward but in a caring matter.
