For the past 2 years I have suffered from joint pain in my shoulders, neck, back, and hips. I have been seeing Dr. Kousourou for about 7 months now after a 6+ month long illness landed me in the hospital. The infectious disease doctor referred me and in the very first appointment, I had a diagnosis. Dr. Kousourou not only is very good at what he does (today alone he noticed swelling in a joint I didn’t even know was bothering me), but he listens and cares. My dad’s rheumatologist will likely be retiring soon, and I am already recommending he come to Dr. Kousourou when that time comes.

When I came to Dr. Kousourou he was pretty much my last hope. I’m not going to lie I walked into his office an absolute mess, tears and all. I had a previous Rheumatologist I had seen for nearly 5 years. But I still was extremely sick and was getting worse every day. Pretty much bedridden. I had lost all hope in ever feeling better again.
