I would never recommend The Avenue at San Marcos (Wonder Dog Communities) to anyone. My two weeks living there were a nightmare. I moved into Unit #211 on September 12, 2025, and within days discovered a severe German cockroach infestation. Despite pest control being scheduled, treatments were either missed or performed without proper notice, and the roaches persisted. I was forced to spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket on pest remedies, plastic bins, and storage just to keep my belongings safe. My daughter, who has asth... read more
Place has German cockroaches...the worst kind. Pest control is optional so that means you'll always have roaches if your neighbors don't get treatment. There's all sorts of bugs too including silverfish, spiders, earwigs, spring tails, drain gnats, fruit flies etc. It isn't gated either so you'll have a whole host of vagrants and solicitors knocking on your door all hours of the day and night.
