The salesman and the business office have zero communication. We wanted a basic door that could be purchased at any big box store. We decided to shop with this local company and write them a check for $250 on May 25, 2020. It has now been six weeks. We have no door. My apologies for the delay. Covid has everything slowed right down to the manufacturer and shipping. $250 is less than 20% and you don’t owe the balance until after completion. I promise your new door will be far superior to a subcontracted box store install. Hopefully we can revisit this thread and recommendation when your door is installed.
RecommendedI had all the windows in my house replaced. I can open my windows easily and they look amazing! I’m most excited about my front window! I can now open it and let fresh air in! The whole crew were so nice! They worked around my crazy kiddos and never complained about them being in the way. I would recommend Gabe’s 100%!

DO NOT USE!! Find another contractor. This business is awful. If you aren’t sure about using this business, check with the local law firms and courts. They know Gabe Chiaro well. Along with poor work, Gabe never checks on his contractors. They hire out and do terrible work. At the end of the remodel, Gabe’s contractor never fixed the ceiling drywall cracks. He said the drywall cracked because the thermostat was set at 60° and that is too cold for drywall. I’ve never heard such a stupid explanation. His contractor went back a... read more
I bought new doors and storm doors last fall and finally got them installed this week. Chiaro Gabe did an excellent job. There were a couple little hiccups but he resolved them and everything looks great.
Gabe's put a new roof on my house and they were done in 2 days. They did a professional job and were very friendly and eager to meet my every need and requirements. I now have a beautiful new roof that adds to the appearance of my house. They also have very competitive prices so I recommend you call Gabe's for all your home improvement needs!!
We bought two new windows to replace leaky ones. Excellent service start to finish. Excellent crew. We’ll be back to replace the rest.
Great professional job at a great price.
they did great work on our home .. they took out 2 windows in the attic and framed it in with cedar than stained it mahogany, replaced our back door and put gutter guards on .. we can't be more happier with the work they did.. we will call them back when we need more work done to the house..
