Dr. Parikh is amazing. My husband and I have been going to him for over 20 years. My husband has multiple heart problems, has had two heart attacks and has nine coronary artery stents.....all taken care of by Dr. Parikh. He has saved my husband's life more times than I can count. In addition I have one stent also placed by Dr. Parikh. I am a retired ICU nurse and observed this doctor's skill and compassion when I worked with him. I would recommend him and his two partners to any and all the people I love....they are the best... read more

Could not understand doctor. Had to leave message with answering service to make an appointment. I was referred by my primary doctor prior to surgery. He was rushed so he said he would approve surgery and make another appointment for tests. I have never received a bill from him.

My doctor sent me to him to advise and prescribe medication. I could not get his attention long enough to have that conversation. I am new to cardio problems and had questions. Instead he tells me he’ll do what I want as far as continuing to get more tests or wait a year. Yeah, he can wait many, many years before I step foot in his office again.

Be prepared to wait at least 2 hours past appointment time even if first appointment of day! Talks fast and extremely rushed. Wrote in my chart I had a heart murmur and leaking valves. I do NOT! Makes one wonder how many others are diagnosed with something they don’t have?

Referred to Dr Gaalla for enlarged heart. This was my initial visit with wait time around an hour. Staff was friendly but the waiting area was dull and depressing. I was nervous but Dr. Gaalla made me feel at ease due to his great bedside manner, answered my questions in lament terms and immediately notified BCBS to get preauthorization for the tests I needed. Overall I had a positive experience and definitely feel my heart is in great hands!!

I'm really not sure how good a doctor Ajay is but he's definitely an entertaining and funny little fellow. His biggest problem is that he is challenged when it comes to communicating. After he repeated his machine's diagnosis a 2nd time, I started asking questions and he admonished me to listen. I asked him if he knew how to listen and off he went on the 3rd repetition. Bottom line, he was clueless about the cause of my wife's chief complaint and couldn't recommend how to get medical answers. At that point I lost my patience... read more

I first saw Dr. Ajay Gaalla in Detar Hospital ER where I had chest pain and an abnormal EKG. The next day Dr. Gaalla performed a heart cath with stint as I had 70% blockage. After the surgery I felt much better as I had improved blood circulation and no chest pain. This procedure was a life saver. I am very grateful to Dr. Gaalla and his staff!

Does not explain procedures, conditions or diagnosis thoroughly. Refuses to take time with patients and has horrible demeamor, and demanding withour explanation. He is lucky his staff makes up for his weaknesses.

The wait is not 10-15 min long, I am a new patient and I have been waiting for 1 hr to be called in. I asked other patients if this is normal waiting period and they all agreed and said they take very long to get called in.
