This is the real deal. For anyone who has been to China or knows authentic Chinese food, this is it. None of that American fried sweet and sour crap. Just good, traditional Shanghai cuisine. No complaints. The staff takes their job very seriously, which is how a typical Chinese restaurant in China is run. Good discipline, good food.

Delicious lunch at G58. Met up with friends and we all enjoyed our meals. Portions are fairly big. Staff was attentive the whole meal. Very nice vibe: quiet & easy to hold conversations without having lean in due to noisy levels. I forgot to take photos of the food but I can say that the middle dishes were delicious. Their fried rice looked amazing & those that ordered it were pleased.
Food and service were good, but we won't be back. Patrons are forced to pay an approx 20% tip with no means to reduce it if you feel less is warranted. You can increase it but you cannot pay less than the added on amount. And they also solicit tips for the cooks. The tipping policy here is, IMHO, unacceptable.
