I had a technician come out to my home back in May because I had an issue with my electruc furnace not working properly. I had American Home Shield and so I had the service call scheduled through them. The tech came out and told me what the issue was (some duct work/repairs) and said he would submit the info to AHS and then schedule the repairs. I never heard anyrhing. AHS claimed they never heard back, then claimed they "couldn't find another contractor". So no repairs were done under my home warranty. I don't know why G To... read more

We had Joe Mitchell of G. Townsend Heating & Cooling come out to our house in Huntington. They are home warranty providers for HSA Home Warranties. While he worked to understand our complex heating and cooling situation for the long run, Joe fixed our low-refrigerant compressor with a refill. The long-term solution Joe proposed is superb. Nobody else in 3 years own owning this house gave this idea- so we definitely want his proposal and G. Townsend's return. Please do continue helping us, new friends at G. Townsend.

This contractor was assigned to us through AHS home warranty. They never picked up the phone nor answered my texts (apparently, they asked AHS representative to text them instead of calling??). Not sure if this company even exists.

Joe has worked twice on my HVAC units and both times just outstanding results. He does an excellent job explaining the issues and resolves them quickly. I always enjoy talking to him when he's here since he's extremely knowledgeable and provides me a great depth of insight in his field. I surely will be using Townsend again and so should you!
