I’ve been going for years!!! Good Dr.
The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor period. Terrible bedside manner and completely dismissive of every concern I had. Swelling in my legs, abdominal pain, heart palpitations, obviously all of these things are completely normal and of no concern, even if I’ve never had those issues before. Not only that, but he was wrong in dismissing my concerns because I had several surgeries since then related to the issues that he so quickly disregarded. Dr. Hooks has been fabulous to deal with. He treats both my elderly mom, and myself. We both enjoy his bedside manner and his ability to find the right specialist for our more complicated issues. Dr. Hooks takes his time and listens to his patients when they talk. I really feel like he knows who I am, even without looking at my chart. If you are looking for a real, caring and intelligent doctor, go see Dr. Hooks. Office staff is just as professional and caring as the doctor they work for.
