So many different fabrics! This is the only G Street Fabrics I've been to so I don't know how other G Streets stores are like, but this store is so big! It has two stories, where downstairs is tapestry stuff. I love this story because they have the best selection I've ever seen. Every fabric imaginable available G Street fabrics has an amazing selection of fabrics for clothing and crafts. The store is huge. They also carry a selection of fabrics for upholstery downstairs. They have sewing classes available and the sales people are almost all expert seamstresses. If you want something made you can find someone here to do it for you.
Eh They have a lot of fabric, true. But most of it is overpriced, and the staff is by and large sullen, distracted, or otherwise too busy to help customers.
You'll find your fabric here Whether you are looking for cheaper fabric for lining something or making a kid's project or whether you are making high quality pillows and drapes, you'll find the fabric and supplies you need at G Street. The staff are all very knowledgeable and most are sewers themselves. The fabric choices you will find range from cottons to silks to sating and patterned and plain.
