Food was great but had to wait a really long time for it.
We had crab cakes, side dishes, and cheesecake! Excellent!
Wonderful crab cakes! Service was good but not great because I was dinning alone. I felt rushed and often waited for my drink. I would love to give them another chance because the food is that good.
Overall this place is terrible! We waited 10 mins just to someone greet us and ask what to drink, then when that server came back I had asked her a question about the size of a steak (size wasn't mentioned on the menu) that she didn't know even though she looked like she had worked there for years (much older, blonde). Her first words were "doesn't it say that on the menu?" So she disappeared into the kitchen to find out. I wouldn't have asked if it said it right in front of me. I was here September 24 2017 for a bday dinner. The food was good and the service was great we do not blame the waitress/waiter for anything but I rated it a 4 because we had a party of 14 and MANAGEMENT would not allow all of us to sit together. We didn't mind separate tables we were cool with that but not tables in two different rooms! What kind of mess is that! Have a heart sir, like you said you wouldn't want to be separated from your family but yet you separated us...smh
Long wait was definitely worth it - best and biggest, meatiest and perfectly seasoned crab cakes I've ever had. Just the best. Period. You must try these - just be prepared for a wait and a busy restaurant - totally worth it! :)

The crab cakes are always delicious! I do look at the other menu offerings, but I resist any temptation and stick with the best. The prices have increased significantly over the years, but it is still worth the visit! I volunteer at the Aquarium and recommend G&M over Phillips every time.
Guess I don't agree with others but I've gone there for many years. It's just not what it was even a few years ago. Some menu changes I don't care for, decor is beginning to show some age, waitress not very efficient. Just may not be my go to place for out of towners anymore.
