I own many properties and hired many plumbers and handymen and have never had any issues with any of them. My credit score is over 825. However, I don't like being taken advantage of. I don't mind paying, but you need to let me know in advance. This time, he never said he would charge, just take a look and provide an estimate. I will never pay someone if he doesn't mention before that would be cost. This company is weird, and will never be used. Again don't know why it's in accredited by BBB. One of the worst experiences unfortunately.I had a visit to look at ceiling stain. The guy came and I almost showed him what could be reasons but he did not suggest any reason. He was a nice guy, spent about an hour but we did not reach final conclusion what is the problem.I got charged $220 for that. They charged my half an hour because travel time two-way!! HAD MY TUB GET CLOGGED TWO DAYS BEFORE CHISTMAS, CALL G&L TO SEE IF THEY COULD HELP ME OUT. TALKED TO HARRY IN THE OFFICE AND HE WAS ALBE TO SEND A TECH THAT DAY. STEVE THE TECH CAME AND SNAKED THE DRAIN AND STEVE AND JON EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY DRAIN PIPE. BOTH STEVE AND JON WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.... VERY HAPPY WITH EVERTHING G&L DID......THEY ROCK!!!!!!!
Fantastic, anytime G&L plumbing is called if I have a problem they respond within two hours of the call 24/7 there workers are well trained and very professional. I would encourage people the use there company
Both G&L Plumbing and their associated business Drain-A-Way, have been outstanding to deal with. As someone who has been involved in the Construction and Service Industries for many, many years, I can attest that finding a great Plumbing Company -or- Plumber for that matter, is very, very difficult. In December 2020, G & L Plumbing, aka "Drain-A-Way," came to my Worcester home to fix water draining out of my pipe behind my washing machine. The plumber suggested adding pipe. I trusted him, so I had him do it, After he left, water was still coming out. They came back in a reasonable time and snaked my pipe. Now, every now and then I get a little water coming out. They say to never let facts get in the way of the truth. Here are the facts: On November 25, 2020, the day before Thanksgiving, we were called to the customer's house to repair the hot water system. We replaced a circulator on the hot water system and purged a hot water loop on the heating system. While our plumber was there, we were asked to repair a leak on the laundry drain, which was a very old galvanized pipe.
