Keeping cars running safely – I have been a customer of G & L Auto Repair for a couple years. Prior to finding G & L, I went to dealerships and paid exorbitant amounts of money and was "jerked" around in the process. Recently, G & L gave me a phone quote based on "my best guess" at what I thought the problem was with my daughter's used car. Ignore Their Quote but Watch Your Wallet – I could not agree more with the previous reviewer: I have had the exact same experience there. They definitely will give you a cheap quote over the phone but then when the bill comes, get ready for a surprise - it will be nowhere near what they suckered you in with. They are indeed very friendly and maybe that's how they manage to overcharge people without getting their customers mad enough to find another shop. Auto repair – Cheap labor rates but they make up for it with the time they charge. Estimates arent worth the paper they are written on and when you confront them they tell you to leave. Go pay the more expensive shop and it will cost you less on the final bill. I feel Dirty.
