We had our fireplace go out at Christmas.We called to have it fix. A nice employee came out to fix our fireplace around Jan13 and we told that the remote was set at a certain temp and when it fell below that temp the fireplace would not come on.3 hrs after maintenance was done Fireplace turned off.We phoned on Jan 14 to let them know that we are having the same problem.They called back on Jan 16 th.They will be out the following week.They phoned Jan 20th.They came out on Jan 26 to look at it again.They left a remote here for... read more
We purchased a wood burning fireplace insert 2 years ago from the Fyre Place Store to replace a propane gas insert. The whole experience has been frustrating to say the least. We were sold a unit that the salesperson, who came out to measure our firebox, said would fit. The installers came and could not get it to fit, the new unit was too big to fit in our firebox opening. They left with the unit and our old propane one, leaving a gaping hole in the firebox until we could make alterations to the hearth to make room for it. T... read more
