My husband had a lifetime membership with Bally and has had a yearly fee of $13.20. Now, after Red Fitness kept the same fee, FX now decided to up it to $79.00. We don't even live in Ohio. Luckily, I always wrote a check and we currently are disputing their charge.
I was a Bally's member still when Red took over. Now apparently it's FX Fitness taking a portion of the locations? I can't even find a website for FX. They charged my card (with an increased membership fee, no less!) without my prior consent and authorization. Then I tried to get them to reverse the charges and they refused.
