Food was delicious and the recipes were well thought out but Chef Amir cared more about taking pictures of the food than he did serving a hot dinner. By the time he ALLOWED us to eat at our event, everything on the table was cold. The cherry on top was his team leaving with half the leftovers, leaving mostly the side dishes for our group. In his words “he needs to feed his team”. I’d recommend getting cold dishes as not to have a disappointing experience.

For my friend's 40th birthday in Miami, Chef Amir Thompson curated an African-themed dinner. The experience was nothing short of exceptional! I was pleasantly surprised by his creative blend with African, Caribbean and American dishes. Each tray was distinctly delicious and brought a delightful touch to the entire event.
