My mother is a current resident at future care and we try our very best to visit daily. Last weekend we went away for my birthday came back and my mom was a totally different person but no one noticed but me! They sent her to the hospital and her blood sugar was over 1100. Future care told the hospital they stopped giving my mother life saving insulin per my request, not only was this a lie but it's so absurd I can't believe someone had the audacity to say that. Awful care! Worst location ever!
One of our residents was transferred to Future Care-Homewood from the hospital. We were extremely pleased with the level of care provided by the staff to include (PT, OT, Nursing Staff, Speech therapist & Aids). Ms. Tammy the Social Worker was GREAT! She stayed in communication with the family and ensured all medical/social expectations were met for a successful recovery to return back to the assisted living.
