We went to the show at The Black Box in Nambour on Friday night as part of our work Christmas Party. It was such a great night! Loved the atmosphere of the venue and the show was absolutely top notch. Some of our group had never been to live standup comedy before and are now total fans! Thanks!
I did the Comedy Workshop with Mick and Nicky over two weekends in October '25. Lots of fun and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in improving their stand-up comedy routine and/or public speaking. Very supportive and helpful. I learned a lot, met some great people and had a lot of laughs!
Nicky, Mick & their dog Larry were such warm and friendly facilitators of this course. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, ideas and feedback — they did an incredible job of organising the workshop and the performance. Would recommend this workshop for anyone who needs a bit of a confidence boost, or wants to try something different. You’ll have fun :)
I wanted to try stand up for years. I knew I could tell jokes but just couldn’t write my own. Mick and Nicky were really supportive, gave great feedback and fostered a real esprit de corps among me and my fellow novices. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get out of the comfort zone- the graduation show was a real motivation to work hard and produce something. Thanks to the expert guidance I soon got over the nerves and found myself really enjoying the experience. Thank you so much!
