Wonderful experience! I was a bit nervous, but Manny explained everything and is super friendly and talented. Sarah helped me with scheduling the appointments for my daughter and I, and also made me feel at ease. They are both amazing artists and we just love this space and having them in downtown Elgin! Funky Rooster is a gem! And if tattoos aren't your thing, but art is - they have a super art gallery space!

Jose "Manny" Manuel is probably the most talented tattoo artist I've ever seen. From the initial consultation through the art drawing and the application everything was perfect. Really just a great artist. The shop as a whole is clean and full of beautiful art work. If you want a tattoo stop in you won't be disappointed.

I'm Usually not the one to write a review but I Came into the shop spur of the moment since I had some time before work . the woman who was up front was a sweet heart , she sent me to manny where I showed him my previous tattoo by another shop that did a horrendous job . Manny did an awesome cover up ! He Took his time and gave me what I wanted . I have another session so I'm not done but I can surely say I left happy .
