I contacted Mr. Funkhouser to complete a trust. He was responsive when I contacted him in May to begin the process and I sent him the info he requested. When I reached out again a week later he didn’t ever reply to any e mail communication. It is now August and I have still heard nothing.
Would leave a minus one star if I could!! Stay far away from this attorney and their office! Bought a property and they didn't do the proper tax review on the property and now I am stuck paying back taxes on a property even though I didn't own it or lose my property. The attorney was late for every meeting that was scheduled and treated me like an inconvenience instead of valued customer.
I had high hopes when I hired Attorney John Funkhouser to represent me, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite the seriousness of my legal matter, Mr. Funkhouser failed to respond to correspondence from the opposing attorney, which has caused me significant complications and delays in resolving my claim. They don't return phone calls despite leaving multiple messages with the secretary.
Initially answered my questions, gave me direction where to start. I got things in place as instructed. have been waiting two weeks for someone to call me back, or answer my emails. Going with another firm, only because I need someone to atleast return emails. I will do all the leg work myself. I am 1 1/2 from the estate and 3 hours from the attorney. I don't have time to be chasing the attorney to find out what to do next when a simple email would answer the questions.
