Sad Pooch It is with a heavy heart that my opinion of Funk / Compassionate Care has fallen from 'satisfactory' to 'wouldn't recommend'.. It was far better run when it was still Funk Animal Hospital. I agree with another reviewer who stated it's 'musical doctors' over there..you never know who you will see. I often get blank stares from the vet techs when I ask questions - not the mention the awful accusatory looks I get from two of them every time I go in because my dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and, as they care ... read more
Funk Animal Hopital is Not Well-Run Nice staff, average vets, poor customer service. They were fine until I had a real, serious problem with one of my pets. They own another clinic (Compassionate Care Clinic), and vets bounce back & forth, so it is musical doctors. Their communication seems constantly crossed. When I expressed my concerns (rather focibly, I admit, after 4 days of stress about whether my pet was going to live or die) I never spoke with admin. Go somewhere that cares about the pet and what the family goes through.. The staff at the desk are good as well as the assistant. However, Dr. Judy has horrible bedside manners. She is good to the animal but, is rude when talking to you. I wondered if it was an off day at first but, then realized it was her. There is no way anyone that goes there doesn't see this with her. nice I have brought my pets here for annual vacc. The staff is great. Very friendly, not only to me but my pets as well. Which is wonderful. They always tell you what they will be doing so i am aware. The price range is good. Not too expensive. I really enjoy coming in and I know my pets like it too. They are taken care of very well here. What more could I ask for.
Great Vet! This is a really great vet! They take a lot of time to sit with you and discuss your pet. It has always been really clean and well kept. I would recommend them to anyone.
Certainly not the oold Funks I have been bringing my animals to Funks for 25+ years. they used to be located in a small brown building accross the street from SuperAmerica. I have to say that I still receive pretty good service however, it certainly not the old Funks that I was used to. when Mr Funk was alive the clinic was uncomparible. the service recieved was outstanding. The vets were amazing and genuinly cared about every family member that was involved with the care of a pet. I've been through epilepsy and cluster seiz... read more
Great customer service I took my dog there this am. The wait was a little longer than expected but they were busy. The service was great. They were very gently with my animal and friendly. They also explained everything so I would understand what was happening. The price is about average. For a shot, 2 kinds of medicine and a check up it was $100. I guess that would be normal. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. Very animal friendly place.
