Professional and friendly auto mechanics! – I was very pleased with the work and friendly attitude of the mechanics at funk-a-motive. They saved me a lot of money (compared to the dealer quote) and only performed the work that was needed. They were able to accomodate my need for quick work and my car was fixed on the same day that it was dropped off. Review from a mechanic's daughter – I spent hours and hours in my dad's shop as a kid so I tend to be really conservative in the recommendations I give regarding mechanics. But since I usually don't have the time or space to work on my truck, I've been dozens of shops all over the states (I travel quite a bit). Affordable car repair between classes – Its easy to miss if you're not familiar with E. Manor, but don't give up or go to a major chain auto repair store. These guys know what they're talking about, and for changing my break pads they charged really reasonable rates for labor and didn't mark up my parts much at all - probably just what the parts delivery guy charged. Best customer service! – Very helpful and friendly. Like a few of the other reviewers, I'm a single gal and unfamiliar with the Austin area. They were nice guys and went out of their way to help me with my problem (on a Saturday no less!). I'd recommend their services to everyone.
Friendly and Knowledgeable owners – I'm new to the area and had car problems. The staff were friendly and I didn't feel like the estimate given was a rip off. Especially, since I am a female. I've recommended this to other females, espcially, single one. The work on the car works great, so Thanks fellas!
