I like this app, I hope one day they will give the investor the opportunity to buy a property for our own to live in. This could become the best way to save and get credit for first home buyers. Because buying through the bank is not always the best option for most of us. Well I am still learning, but I love it!
We moved my wife’s IRA to Fundrise. Almost immediately we were down >10% for reasons that still aren’t clear to me. We gave it 3-4 years to see if it would come back. It didn’t. Now they won’t let us withdraw the money because they say there is an ongoing “fund merger.” This has been their excuse for over 3 months now, and they will not give us any timeline for completion of this merger. Without a doubt, Fundrise has been the worst investment experience I’ve had in my life.
O stars, but Google wouldn't let it go through that way. DO NOT do business with this company. Requested liquidatuion of funds in Juy 2025. They're still holding my money hostage with no timeline for when i will receive them. In the meantime they keep taking advisory fees while the returns plummet. Total disgrace.
Invested in Good Faith, Now Trapped I've been a Fundrise investor since 2016. I understood from day one that this was an illiquid investment. I accepted the quarterly redemption windows.
