Matt C's review says it all. I had the exact same experience with Al and his cronies. They were very responsive for the first 2.5 years of service, but since the start of 2018 it's a completely different story. They stopped responding to emails, blamed a "new payment" system among other lies. Al still owes money to me for a previous tenant and now he is completely unresponsive.

Started using their services in 2013. The owner Al ******* was great in the first 3 years; very responsive and I had no complaints. Until 3 years ago, everything things went downhill. There was constant complaints from the tenants about not being able to reach him and there were times rents were paid to me several weeks or months behind schedule (after tenants paid on time). They are currently 3 months late on rent for a parking spot. I have contacted them over 10 times, the last response from them was mid-May. No return phone calls or e-mails since mid-May.

Fundamental took months to address anything that needed fixing in the apartment I was renting. It was very difficult to get someone on the telephone. Now that my lease is finished, I do not know how I will get deposit returned, as they have two addresses and multiple phone numbers listed. Extremely frustrating working with them.

I had gotten through almost all of the application process and had come to find out that I could not look over or edit any information until after I paid them a 75 dollar application fee. I thought this was a bit odd so I looked up reviews. I am so glad I did. I will never rent from a house managed by them.

I signed a 2 year contract with Fundamental Property Management (**** ******* *** *** *** *** ****** ** *****) in September 2016 to manage a 2 unit apartment house I own in Chicago (I live in San Diego, CA). Contract states Fundamental will "deliver rental proceeds minus authorized expenses by the 10th of the month", as does promotional materials and a 3 November 2016 email from them.
