I'm in my mid 30s and have had reflux for about 20 years. In my teen years, my MD placed me on several different prescription PPIs; with some relief, but I still experienced painful reflux. I highly recommend Dr. Marcotte!!! After dealing with GI issues (nausea, indigestion, gas, bloating, etc.) for years and working with three different doctors, including a gastroenterologist, I was still not able to fix my GI issues and find relief. After 5 years of antibiotics, my gut was in a serious state. My MD recommended I get in touch with a Functional Medicine doc. I found Mr. Marcotte was close by and I was able to get an appointment within just a few days. (Staff very friendly and easy to work with.) Dr. Marcotte is very personable and really knows his stuff. Dr. Marcotte is the first doctor to actually listen to my concerns without blowing them off. After the testing results came in he recommended a treatment plan utilizing supplements. For years I had suffered from chronic fatigue, bloating, and hair loss. Other doctors told me that I was in great health-but I surely didn't feel like it. I have been seeing Dr Marcotte for about 4 months now, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made for myself in a long time.
