I would recommend Fun ‘N The Sun Houseboats IF they made several necessary updates and did a much better job of cleaning their houseboats. We had the pet friendly boat for a full week (although it turned out that no one in our group brought their pets) and we had to ask that the boat be re-cleaned, including the fridge/freezer, before we left. And even after that, we were still cleaning the boat ourselves and still swept up many tufts of dog hair that came loose from the bottoms of the stools and were wiping down lots of cob... read more
Living close to the home of Fun n' The Sun, and being a boater myself, I can tell you with 0 uncertainty, people love the houseboat vacations! I see them out all the time, talk to them often and everybody is always having an amazing time! Great way to get friends and family together for about the cost of a nice hotel, only way better!!!
My husband and I rented a pontoon boat just for the day. We took our 8 kids out for a day on the river for the day. When we arrived, Eric walked my husband over the boat. The boat was not very clean at all. Cob webs all over it, trash left under the captains chair, the bathroom on the boat was so dirty, definitely has not been cleaned in quite some time. Such a good time and the best owners and staff. It takes patience and some focus but with the right crew, it’s very manageable and incredibly fun and beautiful

Our family of 13, 6 adults and 7 kiddos, absolutely loved spending 4 days on the river! The houseboat fit us perfectly. The peacefulness, eagles, turtles, weather, and scenery were breathtaking! Nikki and the rest of the crew were incredibly accommodating. Thank you for an unforgettable family vacation.
