Great for Kids! Our kids love the Steamboat Inn. The rooms are all themed and are so fun. You can check out their website to see pictures and descriptions. The kids love being in the room with us, and there is tons of space. They also have an entire floor dedicated to adults only, so hubby and I go there for special occasions as well. It really is a fun place to stay and very reasonable, especially if you stay off-peak. You can get pricing on their website, so keep an eye out for great deals.
PROS - most of the staff members were very nice. Rooms were clean and bathrooms clean!! CONS - There are a lot of little steps that they found themselves tripping on. There is a fireplace in lobby that if there are other people in lobby people can hit the corner pretty hard. Several did while we were standing there. Had a banquet and the food was ok. We were a little behind and the food was served to us cold. They must not have been able to keep food warm. The salad looked like it came out of a bag. There is an aweful smell ... read more
