**Edit** Unreal. During the 10 months following this review Dr Matip has continued to make attempts to contact me with text messages and phone calls suggesting I follow up with her. I would not recommend working with Dr Matip if you have ANY history of an authority figure abusing or neglecting you. I would also not recommend Dr. Matip unless you have a STRONG support system who can give you feed back. Dr Matip was deliberately negligent by stopping a psychiatric prescription that I had been on for several decades. Simply stopped prescribing it, no tapper, no consideration for best practice. They were great at first, but then the doctors started to change every few months so that made getting evaluated for a diagnosis difficult. Then when I got frustrated that the question werent seeing where I was struggling, I tired to bring it up but was already to emotional to communicate efficiently. The doctor said "it was her job" and I wasn't able to try explain when I calmed down. It happened again and I just left to calm down. That was deemed too disrespectful and I was removed as a patient. I'm a licensed social worker and when my family needed services this practice was phenomenal at providing telehealth services for us quickly and in a personal and appropriate way. The fantastic responsive support was overwhelming from all providers I interacted with from the agency. They do a good job of providing appointment reminders and communication. If you have a holistic mental illness, this is the practice for you. Otherwise, if you have a serious or severe mental illness, one that needs medication, don't come here. My experience with this practice was that I came here on a medicated routine i had been on for my Cptsd, bipolar 1, BPD, Cronic Insomnid, Depression, and Anxiety, for over 2 years.
