I always love their BBQ Brisket. The plate and the sandwich. I've had other meals and haven't been disappointed. Today, I decided to go different. I had their catfish sandwich. My side item was their baked beans. I like coming here for lunch to get alternates to french fries. About that catfish sandwich now. IT WAS HUGE. Really. I could have made an entire second sandwich from it. The toppings were fresh and colorful. It was fried to perfection and very enjoyable. I will be ordering this again.
Best Brisket I have ever eaten. Soft, Juicy and amazingly sweet meat.
We travel the road for work so always looking for some good barb b que. Guys at nucor said this was the place. I got pulled chicken (white) baked beans and mac n cheese. Did we forget seasoning today? Chicken was bland, who adds a pound of brown sugar to beans and call them baked beans? Mac and cheese had no taste. Collards was bland, if you think thats the way brisket is cooked you need to get out more. We spent $60 and left pissed off with an empty belly. Threw the food away. We wanted to like it but its a no for us!!
Great food. The customer service was excellent. I stop there for the first time today while in town and to my surprise this place was great. I will be back there again later this week.
