Still taking money out after I canceled last month
Beware. We originally had Monotronics (which was great). They sold out to Brinks. We had Brinks for years and never had a problem until we tried to cancel. We moved out of state and decided on a different route. I called to cancel, got an automated system, said the service would be canceled. I thought that was too easy to be true. I was correct. These people are shady. Equipment never works and they want you to Continue to pay. They got the wrong one this time.
I got swindled into transferring from ADT where I had had few if any problems to Brinks. In the past 7 months, I've had to replace two batteries and my front door sensor because it kept going off. When it was cold out I was getting all kinds of low battery warnings on my door sensors so have replaced those but I'm not confident that batteries are the issue but, rather, the sensors which are inside the house so should not be impacted by the cold weather outside. I'm still dealing with the front door sensor because, I was not ... read more
