Update: I was able to wean myself off these dangerous medications that I was forced on in the first place. I felt horrible on them, they didn’t work at all…. I experienced some horrible withdrawal effects for a couple weeks because I wasn’t on them for a long time only (4 months). The longer you are on them, the worse the withdrawal effects. Psychiatrist aren’t educated on how to effectively taper and or the withdrawal effects, these medications are pushed heavily by pharmaceutical companies. I had a little anxiety of changing Doctors when I moved back to Michigan and Dr. Metellus has been an extremely smooth transition for me. He takes his time listening and comes off very sincere.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Metellus. He and his office staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Metellus gave his full attention to me during our entire session. He asked me a lot of thoughtful and relevant questions to get an understanding of my struggle. He followed up with clarifying questions and thoughtful responses.
