Me and my partner decided to have dinner here 2 weeks ago and we STILL haven’t healed from a stomach bug we got from here. I rarely ever give any reviews in general about establishments but this has been a terrible thing to go through after trying this restaurant. Having to go through so many medicines because one establishment decided to not be cautious on how they handle raw food to customers. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again to someone else and for that reason I will not be returning.
Nigiri was was all very flavorful, the tamago was particularly good. Service was excellent as well.
Went to Fukumoto for dinner and it was a solid experience. The place is a little dim and cozy, and it gets busy, so I’d recommend a reservation if you can. We ordered a mix of small plates and sushi, and everything came out fresh and well put together. Portions aren’t huge (pretty normal for this style), but the quality is there. Service was friendly and checked in enough without hovering. Price is on the higher side, but it felt worth it for a nice night out.
