Great old school Japanese comfort food. Best way to experience this place is to do the combo. I chose the tonkatsu and cold soba combo. We also ordered a bottle of shochu. Super friendly service.
I was looking for something healthy and fast: Fukagawa delivered! I got the steak breakfast combo. I got a prime ribeye steak in a bento style tray. Their sweet and savory dashimake egg and nato left me feeling healthy. All finished in 34 min so I got back from my lunch break with 15 min to spare!
Went for dinner instantly regret! It was everything but authentic. First off my cup smelled like bleach and I tried 3 soda options before asking for a bottled water they tasted old, flat and dirty like the machines if that makes sense. Secondly my Cali roll was oily and reeked of vinegar 3rd the wait was annoying. I could hear the staff in the back constantly talking and their music in my opinion was way to loud an inappropriate. A lovely Japanese restaurant with authentic and very delicious food in Gardena. Always love to come here! Great taste, lovely staff!
Came in for lunch today and had a terrible experience. We stood at the door for 25 minutes while staff repeatedly walked past us and completely ignored us—even with open tables available. Not a single person acknowledged our presence, so we finally just walked out. Save your time and go somewhere that values basic customer service.
