Great food / excellent atmosphere / decent prices – FuJos -- located uptown in the Wachovia Bldg -- offers a great atmosphere for Asian cuisine. (come on CitySearch, get with it -- this should NOT be listed as a french cuisine establishment) The hostess (Megan) is awesome, and the wait staff (especially Dao -- Vietnamese for "peaches") are incredible -- excellent service with beautiful smiles! Sushi and UpTown Charlotte...Just say no – I have yet to find a good sushi spot in Uptown Charlotte. It just was not good. The mood is very cold, the hostess was friendly but the waiter was not. The Fish was old and the Tempura was too oily. If you are looking for good Sushi, do NOT go here and actually, wouldn't recommend it for their Chinese food eaither. Too overpriced
great food at a price – if you like chineese food fujo is a great pick! wonderful food and great service, amazing presentation at dinner service and only crowded by day. Although if sushi is what you want to eat bring your check book because it is way too pricey to be competitive in charlottes market. Where most sushi spots in charlotte will offer up the same quaility, Fujo will charge nearly double what most are offering.
A gem of a restaurant – I can't belive how good this place is, and how few people know about it. From sushi to typical asian cuisine, you can't beat Fujo (not sure why they're classified as a french restaurant). The service is always top notch and the prices are amazing for the quality and the amount of food you get. They are part of the Wachovia building uptown and the atmosphere is quite nice. It is clean, and never crowded (except for lunch). Check it out.
