This place is unreal. I judge sushi spots by their spicy salmon avocado roll bc I get it everywhere I go. This place is right up there with Mr. Sushi in PB. Plz give it a try — it’s with it!
Some of the best sushi in the city! Always very fresh, plentiful but not overwhelmed menu and intricate recipes. Mango roll and salmon hand roll are my favorites!
Fuego has become one of my favorite sushi spots. They have the best nigiri and sashimi I’ve had in Old Town. The owners and staff are super friendly. Every roll I’ve had there was so good, you should definitely try the El Chingon roll.
I live locally and my friend lives like 50 ft from this spot and recommended the hand rolls. I was going to get some to-go and ordered two hand rolls (tempura & salmon skin), $7-$8 each. Thats it. A guy rang me up and since the order was so simple I didn’t ask for a receipt bc my friend and I were in an intense conversation and he was quick to leave. No detectable spice in the spicy tuna roll. Spicy yellowtail roll had simply had a little bit of mayo added. Pretty shocked at the prices for what I got. My experience did not match the high reviews.
